Instaback by WOK.
WOK has released Instaback, a free audio effect in VST plugin format which is used to reverse the playback of the incoming audio signal.
Plays back the incoming audio backwards. Well – not immediately, but with only a short delay. Of course there is a trick to it…
Instaback is available for free download via WOK’s Facebook page (2.3 MB download size, ZIP archive, 32-bit VST plugin format for Windows, made with SynthEdit).
The plugin is currently only offered on Facebook, although it will probably also be posted on WOK’s official website, too. There’s no need to be logged in to Facebook, though. Simply visit the page linked above and hit the download link.
Instaback is a tool for instantly reversing incoming audio. Most DAWs have this feature built-in, however Instaback makes it possible to switch the playback direction of the audio material on the fly. It also features a Dry/Wet knob so that the original audio can be mixed with the reversed version.
This plugin is the second release in WOK’s new series of simple audio effects in VST plugin format. You can get the previous plugin called REFO-D via this link. It is a neat and easy to use reverse delay effect.
