de la Mancha has announced that the fantastic truc2 multi-effect VST plug-in for Windows is now available as freeware.

truc2 used to be a payware plugin, but is now free to download. However, if you like and use any of my plugins, please consider donating to Cancer Research UK in order to help care for and find a cure for cancer sufferers.

truc2 is available for free download via de la Mancha (6.14 MB download size, ZIP archive, 32-bit VST plugin format for Windows, made with SynthEdit).

So, more payware goes freeware goodness from de la Mancha! This time, dlM is giving away a great multi-effect plugin for Windows. truc2 features 4 effect units (dirt, grain, ring modulation and delay), which can be modulated using the 2 available XY pads.

The pads can be modulated using a variety of LFO shapes, making it possible to add a bit of depth and movement to static sounds. All 4 effect units sound great on their own too, so truc2 can also work as a distortion unit or a classic ring modulator effect.

The plugin was originally commercial software, however it is now available as freeware due to the unfortunate crash of de la Mancha’s online shop.
