Hyperbits Music has introduced Hyperbits Sample Pack Vol. 2, a free sound collection featuring over 1 GB worth of premium quality audio samples and loop content.
According to Serik Slobodskoy, the owner of Hyperbits Music (and also one of the writers here at BPB), Hyperbits Sample Pack Vol. 2 has been in the works for several years. The library is based on a collection of royalty free sounds that were created and saved for later use during various sound design and remix sessions. It features some of Serik’s favorite go-to samples and a set of mix-ready audio loops and sequences sorted into construction kits.
Hyperbits Sample Pack Vol. 2 is organized into two main folders: One Shots and Construction Kits. There are 230 one shot samples included in the library, featuring a variety of electronic percussion and drum hits, sound effects, background atmospheres, and some pretty cool sounding chopped vocals. One of the main highlights is the included set of tuned kicks which will instantly match your project’s key (Kick Drum by 99Sounds is another great source of tuned kick samples, btw). The vocal chants are great as well, as are the various white noise and impact sound effects.
The construction kits are organized into seven key-labeled projects, ranging between 75 and 122 BPM. Apart from the audio tracks in 24-bit WAV format, the construction kits also include the fully mixed version of each project, as well as select MIDI tracks from each session. The MIDI files are pretty useful if you want a bit of insight into how chord progressions and lead sequences are made.
Overall, the library is a great source of high quality one shot samples and loops for house and electro music producers, as well as for beginner music makers who need some high-quality audio content to experiment with. The included sounds are completely royalty free and are available for free download from the page linked below.
