Free SYNTH-1 Mini Collection For NI Kontakt By Karanyi Music

2

Karanyi Music has released SYNTH-1, a freely downloadable collection of analog synthesizer samples for Native Instruments Kontakt.

SYNTH-1 is a free sample library for NI Kontakt, featuring the sounds of six different analog synthesizers. In addition to the sampled synthesizer patches, the library also includes a set of custom-made drum samples. The sounds were captured in 24-bit, passed through the Universal Audio Apollo Preamp, Neve 88RS, and the Pultec EQ.

As is often the case with free sound packs for NI Kontakt, you will need the full version of the software to play the included patches without any limitation. The presets will only work for fifteen minutes at a time in the free Kontakt Player instrument. The good news is that the pack also includes the WAV files which can be used in pretty much any sampler on the market. Here are some of our top free sampler VST plugin picks.

Check out the list of the included presets below:

  • Monday Synth (OB-6 Arp Patch)
  • Tuesday Synth (Roland Super JV D-50 Stack Patch)
  • Wednesday Synth (Oberheim Matrix 6 Analog Bass Guitar Patch)
  • Thursday Synth (Oberheim Matrix 1000 Filmscore Pad Patch)
  • Friday Synth (Yamaha DX7 Custom Soft Tines Patch)
  • Saturday Synth (Moog Minitaur Taurus Sequence Bass Patch)
  • Sunday Set (Custom drum set)

The library contains 650 MB of audio content when extracted. There are 748 samples in WAV format, along with seven presets for NI Kontakt 5. The presets don’t come with a customized user interface, so you’ll need to apply any tweaks manually in the Kontakt editor. The pack can be downloaded completely free of charge from the product page below, no signup required.

SYNTH-1 is available for free download via Karanyi Music (459 MB download size, ZIP archive, contains 7 presets in NKI format for NI Kontakt 5, 748 audio samples in 24-bit WAV format).
