Loopcloud 2.0 Released – Access Loopmasters Sounds In Your DAW!

3

Loopmasters has announced the release of Loopcloud 2.0, a major update to the freeware cloud-based plugin for browsing, streaming, and importing audio samples into your digital audio workstation.

Loopcloud 2.0 introduces significant browsing workflow improvements in that it allows the user to audition and preview Loopmasters samples and audio loops directly from their DAW. This is possible thanks to the improved Store section of the app and the Loopcloud plugin which connects the Loopcloud software to the host application.

In other words, you can now fire up your DAW of choice and use the Loopcloud plugin to preview hundreds of thousands of Loopmasters sounds within your favorite music making software. The entire Loopmasters catalog can be accessed via Loopcloud streaming. This makes it much easier to find that perfect kick drum, vocal sample, or any other type of sound to help finish your tracks. Audio loops will automatically fit the tempo of your project and it’s also possible to transpose the sounds to your project’s key using the new Auto Keymatch function.

Once you’ve found that perfect sample or loop, you can purchase individual sounds, sound folders, or entire packs, according to your preference. Using the app doesn’t require a subscription since all purchases are made using store credits. New users receive a 1GB welcome pack of royalty-free sounds with additional 150 free samples available per week. Also, all Loopcloud 2.0 users will receive 500 additional free points for unlocking sounds.

For more info about the Loopcloud software, check out the promo video embedded at the top of this page. To install Loopcloud on your computer, simply download the latest version of the software from the product page linked below. You will also need to sign up for a free Loopmasters user account in order to access the sound database. The registration process is completely free.

Loopcloud is available for free download via Loopmasters (105 MB download size, EXE installer, standalone application with corresponding 32-bit & 64-bit VST/AU plugin format for Windows & MacOS).

  1. Loopcloud 2 is really good – I haven’t been a huge fan of Loopmasters before, cause I found the package prices way over my pain threshold. But being able to purchase single sounds at very decent prices is just great. I joined once Splice for that and left it quickly cause there was little to choose from and prices also not that decent. Also they now offer package deals combined with deals on Loopmasters-Points that give you whole packages for below $5 in total. Definitely worth a look if you haven’t yet

Where is the elusive loopcloud plugin? All documentation speaks of what to do once you have installed it but nothing mentions where to get it. The app yes. The actual plugin… no.
