Replikant BPB Is A FREE Kontakt Library By Fluidshell Design

Fluidshell Design releases Replikant BPB, an exclusive free Kontakt library for Bedroom Producers Blog readers.

Replikant BPB is a polyphonic wavetable synthesizer powered by Native Instruments Kontakt. It requires the full version of NI Kontakt to work (it will only work for fifteen minutes in the free Kontakt Player plugin).

The library was developed and designed by Fluidshell Design and released as an exclusive freebie on Bedroom Producers Blog. It is a special edition of Fluidshell Design’s library called Replikant2, which is available for download via Patreon.

FluidShell Design is a software and hardware design studio based in Franc. As long-time readers of BPB, they were happy to offer this instrument as a freebie to other BPB readers, and we are very thankful for that!

Taking a closer look at The Replikant BPB, it features most of the controls that you’d typically find in a synthesizer. You can adjust the filters, tweak the AHDSR envelope, and use various Kontakt effects (chorus, delay, saturation, etc.) to spice up the sound. The instrument comes with a selection of presets to help you get started.

Replikant BPB shines as a textured instrument for generating drones, eerie pads, and dreamy leads. It will fit most cinematic and experimental projects.

Composers looking for a quick source of industrial, gritty, and atmospheric sounds will appreciate Replikant BPB’s instant playability. Those who like to dig deeper into sound design can take advantage of the versatile control layout to come up with their own presets.

Check out the demo video below to hear The Replikant BPB in action.

If you like what you hear, chances are you’ll fall in love with FluidShell Design’s other offerings. To download more free Fluidshell Design instruments for NI Kontakt and Reason, visit their Patreon or Ko-fi pages.

  1. I don’t have the full version of Kontakt so unfortunately I can’t use this, but based on the video alone, I think is a really nice sounding instrument. Great work, BPB and Fluidshell Design!

  2. Thanks for the freebie :-)
With Kontakt Player one can can use it for 15 minutes at a time. That was what I did before I got the full version of Kontakt. But I don’t remember if one can save patches in Kontakt Player ?

    Heya.

The REPLIKANT BPB comes with 7 slot filled with wavetables inspired by famous digital ou analog synths, but you also get an 8th slot called “USER”, allowing you to load wavetables made by third parties or by yourself.
That’s the biggest strength of the REP’ BPB, you are not stuck with ready made sounds.

To load your own wavetable (in .wav) just select USER in the wave menu (top center black screen) and drag-drop the file over the FS logo (top right). That’s all.

You can use multiwave files or single waves. You just need to use wavetables and not a classic audio sample.

    Enjoy.

    • This sounds really nice, kind of a vintage synth flavor? Thank you for the gift.
I too use the K-player, but I’ll still go down that road to noodle with the sounds. Wish it didn’t time out though, that’s how fun it is!
      Many thanks.

Yup, it’s a vintage-esque wavetable synth. We’ve tried to replicate as close as possible some of our favorite synthesizers with custom wavetables, it’s not exactly the real deal but enough to have fun.

        Enjoy. ;)

And if you want more REPLIKANTs, just go to our Patreon page, they are all freebies.
