ToneBytes has released Harmonaut, a free (ad-supported) additive synthesizer in VSTi plugin format for Windows.
Harmonaut is a simple VST instrument that implements an additive synthesis with four waveform types and 32 harmonics that can be simple drawn with the mouse.
Harmonaut is available for free download via ToneBytes (2.7MB download size, 32-bit VSTi plugin format for Windows, made with SynthEdit).
During installation, the program will prompt you to install Delta Toolbar (a search engine toolbar). Simply click Decline in order to avoid the installation of this toolbar.
The synth features 32 drawable harmonics and 4 waveform types. It comes with a built-in chorus effect and 64 factory presets.
