Wave Alchemy has announced Transistor Revolution, an in-depth recreation of Roland’s legendary TR-808 and TR-909 analogue drum machines.
Wave Alchemy has announced that they will soon be releasing Transistor Revolution – an exciting new Kontakt Player instrument that has been over 2 years in the making. The instrument aims to be the most authentic software re-creation of the iconic TR-808 and TR-909 drum machines ever made.
The release of Transistor Revolution is expected for mid/late December 2012 (that’s just a couple more weeks, basically!). The price of the library will be £69.95 ($111.00). A free demo version will be released soon!
The library will include 22 000 individual samples (whoa!), with up to 7 random round robin variations per drum module. It will use a custom GUI and the latest Kontakt 5 scripting and sampling technology.
Apparently, the team at Wave Alchemy has decided to do their best to emulate every bit of randomness and charm of these old drum machines. Read more about the upcoming instruments at the official Wave Alchemy website.
