Rescue MK2 by Variety Of Sound.
Variety Of Sound has released Rescue MK2, an updated version of their freeware analog-style signal designer VST plugin for Windows.
Rescue MK2 is a sophisticated mid/side based transient processing device which not only allows detailed ’3D’ imaging control but also fancy transient compression and distortion with dynamics that remains vibrant and alive.
Rescue MK2 is available for free download via Variety Of Sound (2.6MB download size, 32-bit VST plugin format for Windows).
The new version of Rescue features a completely reworked analog-style signal path, which now incorporates Stateful Saturation technology which was introduced with Variety Of Sound’s Thrillseeker series.
Rescue MK2 also comes with a completely rewritten manual (make sure you read it, since it explanins a lot of the stuff which goes on under the hood in Resue MK2).
