Statique – Free Glitch Rhythm Generator For Native Instruments Kontakt

Audiomodern has released Statique, a free random & glitchy percussive pattern generator module for Native Instruments Kontakt.

Statique is a glitch & cuts rhythm generator. Statique is a sequencer based pattern generator which is best suited to give your music production a contemporary percussive fundament. You can easily create groovy electronic patterns or add-on loops built out of bits, cuts, glitches and blips!

Statique is based on a 16-step sequencer with 6 separate pattern generators. The user can change the root note for each pattern. The instrument is delivered with a factory set of percussive sounds which can be found in one large WAV file inside the download pack. The full version of Kontakt 5 is required in order to use Statique without any limitations.

I’m not yet sure if there is a super convenient way to load your own custom samples in this instrument. In theory, you can edit the WAV file provided in the download pack and put your own samples in place of the factory sound set. That process is a bit time consuming, though.
