WOK has released Emonizer, a simple freeware micro-pitch shifter effect in VST plugin format for Windows.

Stereo micro-pitch shifter for thickening vocals, widening guitars… Download for free on Facebook!

Emonizer is available for free download via Facebook (2.7 MB download size, ZIP archive, 32-bit VST plugin format for Windows, made with SynthEdit).

Although the download link is located on Facebook, it is not required to be a member of this social network in order to access it. Simply follow the link posted above and hit the download to get your freebie plugin.

Emonizer is the latest release in WOK’s series of one trick pony plugins, which started about a month ago with the release of REFO-D. WOK’s latest plugin is a micro-pitch shifter which is designed for use on vocals, guitars, and other instrument which may require subtle chorusing. It can be used for achieving a thickening effect and mild chorusing.

The plugin features a SPECTRUM control which is used to limit the affected frequency band. By processing only the higher frequencies, it is possible to preserve the focus of the bottom end. The plugin also features a DRY/WET mix knob and a stereo spread control.

My favorite plugin in this category is ADT by vacuumsound. I’ll definitely take Emonizer on test ride this weekend and see how it compares. Judging by the quality of WOK’s previous releases, it’ll probably turn out great!
