ILIO is running a giveaway for Spectrasonics Omnisphere virtual synth ($499), plus one of three portable hardware synths, in an offer that is open to US residents only.
The competition opened today, and entries will close on May 23, 2024.
ILIO will randomly select three winners, who will each receive the Spectrasonics Omnisphere as well as one of the following hardware synths: the Yamaha Reface CS ($450), Korg Minilogue XD ($680) or Novation Bass Station II ($500).
ILIO is hosting the giveaway with Grammy-nominated keyboardist and sound designer Nicholas Semrad, who presents the announcement video on the giveaway page.
You can enter the competition by signing up for the ILIO mailing list on the giveaway page. Completing additional steps will increase your chance of winning, with up to 10 additional entries.
The headline feature of the Omnisphere software synth is its hardware synth integration.
As ILIO explains, “This innovation seamlessly transforms over 65 renowned hardware synthesizers into complete, knob-per-function controllers that bring comprehensive tactile control to Spectrasonics’ flagship synth.”
This ties in with the giveaway, as each of the three hardware synths included in the giveaway are compatible with the Omnisphere’s Hardware Synth Integration, so “every single knob and slider on each synth is mapped to its corresponding parameter on Omnisphere, providing a hands-on experience, unlike any other software synth.”
Omnisphere is a versatile software synthesizer by Spectrasonics that combines a wide range of sampled sounds and waveforms with powerful synthesis capabilities to create diverse and dynamic results for music producers and sound designers.
Spectrasonics states that by “bridging the physical experience gap between software and hardware, users gain intuitive control of Omnisphere by using the familiar layout of their supported hardware synth.”
This means that “Virtual instrument users can now experience the joy of the hardware synth workflow and hardware synth users can fully expand their capabilities into the vast sonic world of Omnisphere!”
The ILIO giveaway is open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are at least 18 years of age.
