295 MB Of FREE Guitar Loops Released By Loopmasters

Loopmasters have released Electric Space Guitars Free Sampler, an exclusive free collection of electric guitar loops taken from the Electric Space Guitars commercial loop library by Organic Loops.

The freebie pack contains a rather large set of 84 electric guitar loops from the full release. In addition to the free content, the taster pack also contains a discount code for the full version of the product, in case you want to purchase more guitar loops similar to the ones included in the freebie release.

As I’ve already mentioned, the promo pack contains 84 guitar loops, however each riff is available in four different versions (clean, room, spaced and full mix), so the actual number of individual guitar riffs in the pack is 21. The clean sounds were recorded through a Fender Deluxe Amp and the “spaced” loops were processed with vintage delay effects such as the Roland RE-201 Space Echo and the Dynacord Echocord Mini Tape Echo (I actually own this unit and I absolutely love how it sounds). The “room” loops were captured with two separate microphones in a recording room and the “full mix” loops are actually mixed versions of clean, room and spaced loops.

The included guitar loops are set to the tempo of 100 BPM, whereas the full version of the product features guitar loops ranging from 75 to 130 BPM. The sound quality is great and I’ve found that these guitar loops (especially the clean ones) are really fun to use if you load them in a beatslicer type of instrument/sampler and mess about with the timings and such (the free Shortcircuit 1 sampler is a great freeware tool for doing this sort of stuff). Overall, this is a really neat freebie pack and definitely worth the download if you’re looking for some free guitar loops for your collection.
