HG Fortune has released DrumBurst X-824, a freeware drum synthesizer intrument in VSTi plugin format for Windows.
Finally here it is: DrumBurst X-824, and the good news is it is free. The bad news, well, not really bad as only temporary this is my last Synthedit based plugin.
DrumBurst X-824 is available for free download via KVR Audio (18.4MB download size, 32-bit VSTi plugin format for Windows).
The instrument features a built-in step sequencer and 8 drum pads with 64 waves each. Seems like we have entered a free drum machine era, since there have been some very interesting releases recently.
HG Fortune has also announced that this will be his last plugin for a while, since he’s switching from SynthEdit to a new platform. Thanks for all the great freebies so far man!
