Victorian Music Box is available for free download via FrozenPlain (94.5 MB download size, ZIP archive, contains 1 instrument in NKI format for Native Instruments Kontakt).

The instrument is based on 42 multi-samples of an antique music box, with 4 round robin layers per note. I love the fact that FrozenPlain has also included samples of various noises like the sound of winding up the music box for example. Pretty cool!
Victorian Music Box comes with a custom Kontakt interface which features an array of built-in effects and a set of presets. The interface is nice and clean and the effect controls are available on a separate page. The pack also includes a set of 21 custom convolution impulses.
Unfortunately, individual WAV files are not included inside the pack. This means that you’ll need the full version of Native Instruments Kontakt in order to fully enjoy the freebie sample library. You can only use it for 15 minutes in the freeware Kontakt Player.
