Free Turkish Vocal Sample Library By Sonokinetic (One Week)

8

Sonokinetic has announced the release of Gediz, a high quality Turkish vocal sample library for Native Instruments Kontakt. The library will be available as a free download during the first week of its release.

The library is normally priced at €49 and contains over 2400 individual samples. The samples are provided in the compressed NCW format, meaning that the full version of NI Kontakt is required in order to play the sounds from this vocal sample library (the NKI patch will work for fifteen minutes in the free Kontakt Player).

The official tutorial video (embedded below) will give you a good idea of the types of vocal performances which you’ll be able to get out of Gediz. It is a surprisingly versatile vocal instrument, featuring two different songs and four different theme sets of vocal improvisations which can be adapted to your chosen root key. You can adjust the start point of each sample using the modulation wheel on your MIDI controller, which is an intuitive way to come up with natural sounding vocal improvisations. Gediz is capable of automatically performing the task of sample selection and adjusting the playback speed of the sample content depending on the host application’s tempo setting, in order to minimize the artifacts caused by time-stretching. The samples were recorded at two different tempos, making this sample library compatible with a broader palette of music styles.

Needless to say (considering the fact that the library was created by Sonokinetic), the sample content included in Gediz sounds absolutely fantastic. The library is based on a set vocal performances by Gediz Coroglu, an amazing vocalist who excels at improvisation. Sonokinetic has flawlessly transformed Gediz Coroglu’s vocal performances into the form of a virtual instrument and there’s really no reason for you not to download this amazing vocal sound library during the freebie offer. It is a worthy addition to any cinematic composer’s collection of sounds, although it’s obvious that these vocal performances would also work great in many other styles of music. Most importantly, the instrument can be used completely royalty free in your music, even if you download it during the freebie offer.

To download your free copy of Gediz, visit the product page linked below and click the “Signup & Download” button. After filling out the form and clicking the submit button (there’s no need to verify your email address and signing up for the mailing list is completely optional), you’ll be taken to a page which contains the download links. On this page, you can pick between using the Sonokinetic download manager to download the sounds, or simply clicking the direct download links which are located at the bottom of the page. The download is split into three separate RAR archives – one containing the instrument patch, one containing the sample content and the last one containing the bonus materials and documentation.

Please note that the free download offer expires in exactly one week from now. After the promo offer has expired, the regular price of €49 will come into effect. Don’t miss this one!
