Ghost by WOK.
WOK has released Ghost, a freeware drone synth available in VST plugin format for Windows.
What is it? Something that makes a sound. How to use? Adjust Attack/Release with the one knob and press + hold one or more keys on your keyboard.
And here’s a bit more info from WOK himself, on how the plugin was created:
Is it made with Synthedit? YES! So it’s big, a CPU hog, might crash your host, is NOT available for overpriced MAC computers and is responsible for all the evil in the world (incl. Rave and Facebook).
Including Rave and Facebook?! Damn, that’s one nasty VSTi.
Anyway, I have to agree with WOK on this matter. There are many fantastic SynthEdit creations out there, and there are also many bad plugins which were hand-coded. So at the end of the day, it’s all about how good the plugin is and not what was used to make it.
