minitron III by easytoolz.
In celebration of Easter, easytoolz has released minitron III, a free Monotron-inspired instrument in VSTi plugin format for Windows.
It is not a real Emulation, more a Adaption of the simple but effective structure of the Korg Minisynth with a little “moogysh” sound… The Filter is a own “moogysh” 24 db Lowpass with potis for cutoff, peak (resonance) and, in adition to the Original Monotron, a Velocity-Poti for modulating the Cutoff by the Keyboard-velocity. An additional Overdrive gives a more ruder sound.
minitron III is available for free download via easytoolz (there are several easter eggs on their website, you’ll need to find the right one).
