BassGnomes has released Clarity, a freeware audio enhancer (using phase shifting to “clarify” the audio signal) in VST plugin format for Windows.
So I built an enhancer, and I think it works great for clarifying parts in the mix without being damaging. It uses phase shifting to clarify the audio signal. The “stages” control determines how many phase shifting networks to route the audio through (1 or 2), and the “full phase” control allows you to add the full phase vst effect into the processing as well.
Clarity is available for free download via BassGnomes. Two days ago, the same dev has released another freeware plugin based on phase shifting called Full Phase.
If you like this plugin, also check out Image-Line’s You Wa Shock! (based on their Maximus maximizer) and TB EZQ (a super simple equalizer by ToneBoosters).
