SHB-1 by Ignite Amps.
Ignite Amps has released SHB-1, a freeware bass guitar tube amplifier in VST AU plugin formats for Windows and Mac.
Based on the real SHB-1 “Extreme Bass Head”, built by Ignite Amps for Federico Fulceri, bass player of the italian thrashers Subhuman, featuring 6 triode stages and a 1300W Class D power-amp.
SHB-1 is available for free download via Ignite Amps. I’m a big fan of their previous releases (all three are fantastic plugins, seriously!), and it’s simply awesome to get a free bass amp from these guys. SHB-1 will be the first proper bass amp in my software studio.
