Detunized has released Untouchable, a free collection of 100 percussion and SFX sounds captured with a portable recorder and formatted for Ableton Live.
Untouchable is a 10-cell Drum Rack for Ableton Live. The Rack delivers 100 noises that were recorded with the built-in microphone of a vintage mini-disc portable while touching, scraping, rubbing and hitting it.
Untouchable is available for free download via Detunized (8MB download size, 100 samples in 24-bit WAV format, 1 Ableton Live Drum Rack).
Please note that you’ll need to be logged in to your Detunized account in order to get the download link. However, the registration process is completely free.
The included sounds are mapped into a Drum Rack with 10 cells (each containing 10 sounds). I’m not yet sure if Ableton Live is absolutely required to use these sounds, but judging by the description on the download page it should be possible to extract the individual WAV files from the pack.
