Whitebox Synth Makers has released LOW, a free M4L device designed to complement the currently available ambient instruments for Ableton Live.
With more than a nod towards a certain album from a well-known artist the sounds available on the front of the box enable a palette ranging from dark to bright, from clean to dirty, from high to LOW.
LOW is available for free download via Whitebox Synth Makers (453kB download size, AMXD file format).
Please note that Ableton Live (v8,3 or higher) and Max for Live are required in order to use this instrument. As I’ve already mentioned in another article, now would be a good time to purchase Ableton Live, since it’s available at a 25% discount until November 1st.
