Icebreaker Audio has released Reader, a freeware drawable waveshaper effect ensemble for Native Instruments Reaktor.
The incoming audio is distorted according to the plot in the central graph. Additional gain and filtering controls are available to further tweak the sound.
Reader is available for free download via Icebreaker Audio (1.33MB download size, contains 2 effects ub Native Instruments Reaktor ensemble format).
Another free Reaktor ensemble called S.O.O.G. (Sub Octave Oscillator Generator) is available for download on the same page. It’s described as an analogue style octaver effect.
Please note that the full version of Native Instruments Reaktor is required in order to use this effect without any limitations. It will work for 20 minutes in the free Reaktor Player.
