The Sound Guy has announced that their SFX Machine RT audio effect in VST/AU plugin format for Windows and Mac is available for free during Thanksgiving!
Through Thanksgiving, and maybe beyond, we’re offering a free copy of SFX Machine RT to anyone who signs up for our (infrequent) mailing list. Designed for simplicity and ease of use, SFX Machine RT offers quick and easy access to over 250 presets.
SFX Machine RT is available for free download via The Sound Guy (664 kB download size, EXE installer, 32-bit VST/AU plugin format for Windows and Mac).
To get your free copy of SFX Machine RT you will need to subscribe for The Sound Guy mailing list using the link provided on the page linked above. Simply submit a working email address and confirm your subscription. The download link and your personal authorization code will be delivered to your Inbox right away.
SFX Machine RT is a multi-effect tool which is currently priced at $19.95 in The Sound Guy Online Shop. Although it is an older plugin (released way back in 2003) it can still be quite useful as an easy to use sound effect bank. The idea is to have multiple effects accessible inside one plugin, with decent sound quality and a very low CPU hit.
The plugin features around 250 built-in presets which cover all sorts of effects from chorus and filtering to rhythmic gating and pitch shifting. The included presets are sorted into 20 categories which can be explored using the Browser on the left side of the GUI. A pack of additional presets is also freely available on the official website.

onNice. I got the Pro version a few years back when it was on some no brainer offer. I wouldn’t worry about this being an old plugin it works flawlessly and sounds great.
