Beat magazine is giving away Aalto Solo by Madrona Labs and Artillery II BE by Sugar Bytes on their new website called Beat Drive.
The Beat Cloud Drive is the central archive for free sounds and plug-ins. Receive access to a huge, ever-growing library of high-quality samples, promotional packs and plug-ins that you can use in your productions.
To get your free plugins, visit Beat Drive and register as a new user (here’s a Google Translate version of Beat Drive, just in case). Once you’ve registered and logged in to your new account, visit the PLUG-INS page and start the download.
Aalto Solo was already offered as a freebie not too long ago, but that offer required users to be logged on to Facebook. This time around it’s just a simple registration process, which I’m sure will be appreciated by some BPB readers and commenters. ;)
Either way, if you’re into modular synthesis, you should definitely check out Aalto Solo (and here’s the full version of Aalto). It’s a wonderful virtual instrument which will keep you interested for hours, experimenting and creating weird sounds.

Can’t get past the form page; can’t get it to recognize a press of the ‘submit’ button. Anyone else have this same trouble?
