Beatmatch has updated their free Digital collection of free drum and SFX samples designed for use in electronic dance music with full support for Native Instruments Maschine.
“Digital” is a must have collection of close to 300 high quality royalty-free synthetic drum sounds, effects and one shots. From now on people can use “Digital” in the form of an Maschine Extension.
Digital was first released back in December 2014, as a free collection of drum samples and sound effects crafted for use in techno and house music tracks. The download pack contained 295 audio samples in 16-bit WAV format, consisting mainly of drum one shots with some additional glitches and swoosh sound effects.
The new updated version of Digital can be used as an extension pack for NI Mashine. The Maschine kit features a set of four drum kits and additional collection of 16 drum loops designed for use in minimal techno tunes.
Before downloading the freebie pack, you’ll be prompted to enter your email address. The download will start automatically after clicking the Submit button. All included samples are 100% royalty free.
In other news, Audiomodern has recently released a free NI Kontakt instrument featuring a bell-tone patch from a modded Roland analog synthesizer which has been passed through the TC Electronic Reverb 4000 hardware unit. The freebie instrument called DeciBell can be downloaded directly from their website. It requires Kontakt v5.2.16 or higher.
