Heavyocity has released Free Production Loops 2017, a free collection of cinematic loops made with the NOVO Modern Strings ($549) virtual instrument.
Free Production Loops 2017 contains 380 MB of audio loops in WAV and Apple Loops formats. All included sounds were created using the NOVO Modern Strings virtual instrument and its CYCLE engine. The provided sounds are, however, exclusive to this freebie pack so even users who own the full version of NOVO Modern Strings will find them useful.

Style-wise, the content is mostly cinematic, consisting of synthesized and acoustic string loops, rhythmic sequences, and a few distorted guitar loops. There’s quite a bit of variety to the included content, as Heaviocity obviously attempted to display the full potential of the NOVO Modern Strings ($549) instrument.
So is this freebie worth the download? The loops sound very modern, they’re well-produced and available in a file format (WAV) which is compatible with all sampler instruments and digital audio workstations on the market. In my opinion, the pack is definitely worth checking out if you’re looking to expand your arsenal of cinematic loops.
