MSLR Is A FREE Mid/Side Processing VST Plugin By HASound Post

HASound Post has announced the release of MSLR, a freeware mid/side processor in VST plugin format for Windows-based digital audio workstations.

MSLR is a handy audio processing utility which can encode stereo signal (left/right) to mid/side and decode mid/side signal to left/right stereo. The plugin can also operate in the so-called Inline mode which allows for mid/side processing without encoding LR signal to MS (the encoding/decoding is done internally).

The user interface is split into three sections, with volume sliders located on the left and the mode selection dial on the right. The mode dial simply activates one of the three available processing modes (Encoder, Decoder, Inline). The mixer section features volume controls for each channel, along with buttons for muting and changing the polarity of each audio component. In use, the plugin performed very well thanks to its simple control scheme and intuitive user interface. It is well worth the download if you don’t already own a mid-side processing tool.
