Native Instruments launched the Cyber Season sale with a sitewide 50% OFF discount on all virtual instruments, audio effects, sounds, and DJ software products.
If you wanted to upgrade your Kontakt Player to the full version of Kontakt 6, this is the best time to do it. The same goes for other Native Instruments software titles like Reaktor 6, Massive X, Traktor Pro 3, Battery 4, Abbey Road Drummer, and Monark.
If you’re upgrading to the full version of Kontakt 6, be sure to follow our guide on how to get an added discount. The idea is to register a free Kontakt Player library to your account first and then upgrade to Kontakt. This will combine the crossgrade discount with the Cyber Season sale.
UPDATE: The crossgrade is disabled during the sale, so it isn’t possible to combine these two discounts. Thanks to our readers Luiz and Luka for the info in the comments section.

onEven though it showed up before, as I have Embertone Arcane registered in my NI account, the crossgrade option doesn’t show up anymore in the buying page :(
Anyone else having the same issue? Did they find out about our little trick?

onAs I suspected, the crossgrade is disabled:
“The crossgrade has been disabled during the Cyber Season sale. The 50% offer make our Kontakt full version cheaper than what the crossgrade would be. We remove upgrade/crossgrade licenses whenever the sale we introduce offer better pricing on full versions.”
It’s still a great discount, but this means that the part in this article about combining the crossgrade with the Cyber Season sale is incorrect.

onToo bad… I’m not a fan of Kontakt, and paying 200$ for the sake of lots of free libraries… not sure if it worth it.

onAh, I see! :) Yeah, I had this burnout period in late 2018 and throughout 2019, when I was less active. But I never really discontinued BPB. That said, slowing things down a bit back then did wonders for my productivity (and overall wellbeing). Thanks for reading BPB! :)
