The included sound packs are Brute Factor, MRMX, Dreadbox, and SMBLNC. In total, there are 151 patches that you can cause utter carnage with (if you like).
Brute Factor is a collection of 47 MiniBrute 2S patches. Arturia’s MiniBrute 2S, and the entire Brute range of synths, has a pretty dedicated following of musicians who love its unapologetic sound.
ZamplerSounds hasn’t tried to change that sound; just condense it into a Zampler RX-friendly pack. The one thing they did add that the original unit isn’t known for is some nice pads.
MRMX is the sound of the Dreadbox Murmux, a synth that some people have jokingly described as too fat. So, if you want fat, gritty basses, you’ll get plenty here.
The Dreadbox pack captures the monstrous sound of the Dreadbox G-System. With almost 2GB of content, this pack covers everything from the in-your-face leads and aggressive basses to the dreaded drones.
While it’s a pretty versatile pack, subtlety is not what it does best. The Dreadbox pack is for those who really do want to create modular mayhem.
SMBLNC is an Oberheim sound bank. Synth legend Tom Oberheim made some of the most sought-after synths ever. The SMBLNC pack is a nod to the Oberheim SEM synths that the likes of Arturia have emulated in plugin form.
