Martin78 has released a free collection of drum and FX samples captured from the Roland U-220 hardware sound module (produced in 1989).

Aabsolutely FREE, drum & fx samples from my Roland u-220 rompler module from 1989. It is rack version of Roland U-20 keyboard.

~~The Roland U-220 sample pack is available for free download via Martin78.com~~ (link removed, since the site has been marked as malware by Google).

The pack includes all the original sounds from the U-220, as well as the additional latin and fx sounds from expansion card number 2. All samples were captured with a Motu 2408 mk2 interface (24-bit), and then denoised and converted to 16-bit.
