VSTZONE has released Amplio, a freeware 3-band parametric equalizer in VST plugin format for Windows (made with FlowStone).
Amplio is 3 band equalizer with adjustable bands intended to use for drum loops. Each band has it’s own harmonics exciter, saturation and spatialization enhancer for creating pseudo 3D effect, that also work with mono source.
Amplio is available for free download via VSTZONE (1.9MB download size, 32-bit VST plugin format for Windows).
Although it’s described as a 3-band parametric EQ, Amplio is more than just a simple equalizer. Each band features a saturator, harmonic exciter, and a spatial enhancer. Furthermore, it’s possible to apply a reverb to one of the equalizer bands!
According to the info on KVR Audio, the plugin was created with FlowStone. Have any of you guys ever used FlowStone plugins? How do they compare to SynthEdit and SynthMaker stuff (for the record, I use quite a few SE/SM plugins)?

I have not used this yet, or other Flowstone made plugins, but I think that Flowstone is what Synthmaker turned in to.
yup correct, i haven’t used any flowstone plugins but i imagine it to be no different to a synthmaker made plugin.
thanks for the info man.
Hmm, dunno what was the program ilvolved when creating this plugin, but it is even better with CPU usage than SynthMaker.
And it is not a bad plugin.
Thanks.
Indeed,
Flowstone is kind of the successor to SynthMaker.
Quite similar to Ozone, without the dynamic processing section.
Cool plugin, very useful… tried it out and added it directly to my favorits :)
Thank you for publishing information about Amplio VST and also for feedback from users. We would like to announce, that new version of Amplio will be available for download next week. For more information subscribe to facebook.com/vstzone
This free plugin actually does something to the sound! It’s almost pornographic how much this does. Why didn’t this one enter the KVR contest? This plug is a big surprise and I think it’s even useful in a mastering chain or two.
