Hollow Sun has announced that they have updated their Freepacks series, a collection of 11 free sample libraries for Native Instruments Kontakt.
Our Freepacks are very popular but a bit dull – just (for the most part) sample replay things. Well, with the exception of the BassStation and Novachord FreePacks, both of which have a fair degree of functionality, we’ve updated the FreePacks with a very comprehensive GUI that offers a lot of versatility.
Freepacks are available for free available for free download via Hollow Sun (11 sample libraries, requires NI Kontakt v3.5 or higher).
All eleven sample libraries now feature custom GUIs, with basic synthesis controls and an effects section. Prior to the update, only Bass Station and Novachord packs came with custom interfaces.
These are great sample libraries and are must-have for Kontakt users, especially considering the fact that they’re free. My favorite one is the Bass Station which features 90 multisampled patches from this analogue synthesizer.
