Alex Adelhardt Productions has released Heavy Snare and Ruff Kick, two individual free sample libraries featuring a set of multi-sampled acoustic drum elements.
Welcome to my Drums-Sample-Store. I’ve decided to make them available for free now. So feel free to download them. Have fun.
The samples are available for free download via Alex Adelhardt Productions (20.7 MB & 5.2 MB download size, ZIP archive, 24-bit WAV format, Drumagog & Slate Trigger mappings included).
No registration is required on the website. Simply visit the page linked above and provide a working email address when prompted to start the direct download of the selected sample pack. All included samples are royalty free.
Heavy Snare is based features a collection of 20 audio samples capturing the sound of the 14″ TAMA Black Panther Snare which was tuned for use in heavier rock and metal music. Four different microphones were used, including the legendary Shure SM 57 for close hits and Gefell UM70 for capturing the room sound. The included samples are organized into four different velocity categories with five samples per category.
Ruff Kick contains six samples of the 22″ Mapex Deep Forest Kick which was also tuned for use in heavier music styles. Each sample comes with a corresponding room sample.
