Biome Digital has released House Kit, a free mini sound library for house music producers. The company has also launched a customer survey and a contest, giving away a free commercial product of choice to five lucky winners.
House Kit is a mini sample library containing sixteen one-shot samples, ten audio loops and a MIDI template. It’s not a huge sound library, but the included sounds are of excellent quality. If you’re a house music producer, I’m pretty sure you’ll find that most of these sounds, if not all, are keepers. The mini kit contains some great sounding drum loops and heavy kicks, along with a nice set of analog bass hits and sound effects. All included audio content is 100% royalty free.
The free House Kit can be downloaded upon registering for a Biome Digital user account and logging in to your user area (the registration process is free, valid email address required). You will instantly gain access to the House Kit download, along with a set of older Biome Digital freebies (one of which is the excellent 4 Da Club sound pack). Everyone who completes the survey will be included in a contest for a chance to win a free copy of a commercial product of choice. A total of five products will be given away. The promotion ends on October 31st this year, which is when the five lucky winners will be announced.
