Wave Alchemy has offered a free demo version of their recently released Pro II Synthesizer instrument library for NI Kontakt.

Due to popular demand we are now offering a completely free ‘slimmed down’ demo version of our Pro II Synthesizer. Users of Kontakt 4 (and above) can now demo a small range of what is possible with our powerful and extremely analogue sounding Pro II synthesizer instrument…

Pro II Synthesizer Demo is available for free download via Wave Alchemy.

Restrictions

Restrictions of the Pro II Synthesizer Demo version:

  • OSC 1 and OSC2 feature only a SAW wave. Full version includes SAW, SQUARE, PULSE 10, PULSE 25 and TRI waveforms for both Oscillators
  • Only 1 Sub OSC available which is limited to a Square wave. Full version includes two sub oscillators, both including Square and Sine waveforms
  • Pink Noise OSC disabled
  • The ability to individually alter filter cut off and resonance for each of the 16 steps in the Pro II’s sequencer has been disabled
  • Unison function disabled
  • Follow function used to link the mirroring controls of the ‘preset’ and ‘raw’ page is disabled
  • 50% of the included custom reverb impulse responses have been disabled

  • No complex multi-patch arrays are included within the demo version of Pro II
  • Demo version times out after 30 minutes. After this time the NKI file will need to be re-opened for parameters to become editable again

    No go for me…too bad
Feature restriction is a good thing, but workflow killer is not ;)
