Wavesfactory has released W-MusicBox, a free Kontakt instrument featuring the sounds of a music box recorded with a pair of AKG 414 microphones.
A music box (also musical box) is a 19th/20th century automatic musical instrument that produces sounds by the use of a set of pins placed on a revolving cylinderor disc so as to pluck the tuned teeth (or lamellae) of a steel comb.
W-MusicBox is available for free download via Wavesfactory (working email address is required in order to get the download link). The same company has released some pretty cool freebies in the past, including the awesome 1850 pipe organ for Kontakt.
