OD Sketchbook 1 by Oh Drat.
Oh Drat has released OD Sketchbook 1, the first in an upcoming series of free practice construction kits for Reason, Maschine, and Ableton Live (WAV included).
You’re about to download a pre-made kit of 16 professional, unique sounds, laid out for you to jam with straight away or use as part of your next track. It’s a free sample pack, a construction kit, an improvisation tool, and 16 pads of inspiration all wrapped into one… and it’s free!
OD Sketchbook 1 is available for free download via Oh Drat (split into four 1.7 MB packs, depending on which format you prefer).
I still haven’t downloaded the pack, but this sketchbook thing seems like an interesting concept. It’s basically a set of 16 loops for everyone to jam and play around with. It seems that future sketchbooks will come with video tutorials and such, making the whole thing even cooler.
