German developer HOFA-Plugins has released ProjectTime, a freeware project time measurement tool in VST/AU/RTAS plugin formats for Windows and Mac.
HOFA 4U ProjectTime starts the time measurement as soon as it gets loaded into a plug-in slot in your DAW (Cubase, Pro Tools, Studio One, Reaper …).
ProjectTime is available for free download via HOFA-Plugins (email address required, VST/AU/RTAS plugin formats).
The download size depends of whether you choose the online installer (4MB download size) or offline installer (120MB download size). The installer includes all plugins released by HOFA-Plugins, although you are free to choose which ones you’d like to install on your machine.
So, a plugin which measures how much time I’ve spending on a project. I’m not really sure if I find the idea useful or not. Perhaps it could be a good tool to remind you to rest your ears from time to time?
