Hideaway Studio’s Minimoog Model-D.
Dan Wilson (aka Hideaway Studio) has released Godfather Strings, a free NI Kontakt instrument featuring the sounds of Moog’s legendary Minimoog analog synthesizer, the AKAI VX90 analog synthesizer module and the Yamaha TX802 FM synthesizer.
Godfather Strings is a huge and complex 100% synthesized string ensemble I made using 2 layers of slowly evolving Minimoog brass into tube EQ, a layer of AKAI VX90 analog strings into analog chorus and tube EQ and finally a layer of TX802 strings fed into the triple analog chorus stages of an ARP Omni-2 and then tube EQ’d.
