C-Tech by BA Tech.
BA Tech has released a beta version of C-Tech, a freeware compressor effect in VST plugin format for Windows.
I made new compressor plugin but it’s completely different than the others. I developed it with some new methods. Actually, I can say it’s a “loop” compressor.
C-Tech beta is available for free download via KVR Audio (4.8MB download size, 32-bit VST plugin format for Windows).
BA Tech has recently released all of his plugins as freeware, so I’m pretty sure that C-Tech will remain free even after the beta stage is finished. Until then, the developer is looking forward to some feedback from the beta users, in order to further improve the plugin.
From what I could gather by reading the KVR Forum thread, C-Tech automatically adapts the Knee and RMS settings by comparing the input and output signals.
