Whitebox Synth Makers has released Samurai PACK, a free Ableton Live 9 instrument featuring sounds reminiscent of Japanese traditional music.
Whiteboxsynthmakers’ Nick Dwyer has made a layered instrument on Ableton Live 9 Intro to demonstrate the versatility of the relatively simple devices available in the basic set.
Samurai PACK is available for free download via Whitebox Synth Makers (1.43MB download size, contains 1 instrument in ALP format for Ableton Live 9).
The instrument combines Ableton Live 9’s Buzzheng and Light and Dark with the Insen Scale MIDI effect set to an oriental scale.
Please note that Ableton Live 9 is required in order to use this instrument. It was created with Ableton Live 9 Intro, which is priced at $99 in the Ableton Online Shop.
