Nick Dwyer (aka Whitebox Synth Makers) has released thindriftingamelanfairlight, a free instrument rack for Ableton Live.
Whiteboxsynthmakers’ Nick Dwyer has taken a Jimi Hendrix amp model, a couple of marimba samples off an early Beta of Live 9, some street bells, a Fairlight choir mix and balanced them altogether into this lush, heady, slightly 80’s soundscaper.
thindriftingamelanfairlight is available for free download via Whitebox Synth Makers (0.92MB download size).
The rack doesn’t require Max for Live or other add-ons. You can load it up in Ableton Live Intro 9, which is priced at $99 in the Ableton Online Shop.
Nick Dwyer has recently also released Max Pack which costs $16 and features 8 individual Max for Live synths.
