LoTech – Free Ableton Live M4L Pack By Whitebox Synth Makers

Nicholas Dwyer (aka Whitebox Synth Makers) has released LoTech, a free Ableton Live pack based on Roland TB-303 waveforms.

This is a rework of a Max for Live TB-303 with added phasor and an extra waveform, pieced together into a rack with some chorus and fuzz to give it a Roger Fripp quality. This simple thing can give hours of tweakable pleasure if you have nothing else to do.

LoTech is available for free download via Whitebox Synth Makers (1.22MB download size, contains 1 instrument in ALP format for Ableton Live).

The instrument is based on Roland TB-303 waveforms, with added chorus and fuzz effects. It features an aggressive, grungy sound, suitable for use in leads and atmospheric drones if you crank up the reverb.

Please note that Max for Live is required in order to use this instrument. It is included in the latest version of Ableton Live.
