Free Arturia MicroBrute DIY Sample Pack Released By Timur Arynov

Timur Arynov (aka MyOSS) has released Brute Planet, a free sample collection featuring the sounds of the Arturia Microbrute hardware analogue synthesizer.

I’ve made a new samplepack with my Arturia Microbrute synth. I’ve tried to make it sound like dark alien planet described with strange electronic sounds. It was designed by using minibeast Arturia Microbrute hardware synth as main sound source + some post-processing. This pack is mostly suitable for electronic music and sci-fi effects for movies and video games.

Brute Planet is available for free download via SoundCloud (54.9 MB download size, ZIP archive, contains 153 audio samples in 24-bit WAV format).

The included samples are sorted into four separate folders by sound type. The pack features a set of robotic sounds, dark atmospheres, SFX sounds, and a nice set of one shot drum samples which were generated using a software instrument and processed with the analogue filter of the MicroBrute synthesizer.

The samples can be used free of charge both in free and commercial audio productions. Re-distributing of the samples is not allowed.

I enjoy collecting samples from different hardware instruments and this sample pack has definitely found its place in my collection. I hope to see more releases by Timur Arynov in the future.

The best part of the Brute Planet in my opinion are the SFX sounds which work great for layering and adding interest to electronic grooves. The drum samples are also rather nice. Good stuff!

Btw, do any of you guys own the MicroBrute synthesizer? How do you rate it? Leave your opinion in the comments section below!
