This fantastic set of drum multi-samples has been released a while ago in four different versions. As of today, the fifth version of the kit is available, featuring an advanced Kontakt 5 interface with loads of goodies such as an eight channel mixer section, multi-out support, microphone blending, four convolution reverbs, a buss compressor, tape saturation, etc.
The Kontakt Pack version of the kit also includes a superb MIDI groove editor, with a built-in groove slicer for easy pattern manipulation. The download pack includes 704 MIDI grooves which are ready to use inside the editor. Finally, an alternative Lite version of the kit is included for people who work on slower computers. It’s not a bad idea to use the Lite version while programming the drums and then load up the full kit for rendering purposes.
UPDATE: The free versions of the kit are no longer available. Although it sucks if you haven’t managed to get the kit for free, I think that it’s an absolute steal even if you get it for the £2 price which is currently active.

Either way, I think that it’s an absolute steal even if you get this for £2, not much different than getting it for free. It’s a quality kit!
I was looking forward to the Kontakt version but I sensed something was not right when the kit wasn’t released together with the other formats – well now we know why…I’m dissapointed that it turned out to be just a publicity stunt… they knew the free copies would be claimed even before the word got out, while they’d take full advantage of the incoming customer flux with the exact same mentality: “bummer it’s not free, but hey, it’s still dirt cheap, might as well get it”.
I’m sorry, but that’s not ok in my book. You either give something completely free, or set a (cheap) price from the get go and be done with it. Throwing a bone just to attract ppl that otherwise would not visit your page is a bit dishonest – IMO.
