There were so many free sample and loop library releases in the past several weeks, that we just didn’t manage to fit them all in our daily news section.
And since we know that you guys are always hungry for more free music making resources, here’s a little round-up of soundware freebies that we missed last month. Enjoy!
Free Pack Vol 004 by Sample Ninjas contains a set of eighteen recordings that were captured with the Elektrosluch 3 electromagnetic listening device. The sounds were recorded from a variety of sources, such as the Teenage Engineering OP-1 synthesizer, game consoles, an oven and a TV, among other stuff.
SFX Sampler 2015 by A Sound Effect includes over 500 free sound effects and foley sounds from their various commercial releases. The pack features a set of royalty free samples from fifteen different sound libraries. The included sounds vary in quality, but there are definitely a few keepers in there. Whereas the included interface sounds and synthesized sound effects are not too exciting, the foley stuff and the field recordings are pretty solid. A valid email address is required in order to download the freebie.
Simpulse Dave by Wilkinson Audio is a free collection of guitar cabinet impulse responses in WAV format (24-bit, 44.1/48/96 kHz). The included impulses are also compatible with Fractal Audio Axe-FX. The pack includes 24 impulse responses in total. Click here for more free guitar cabinet impulses.
End Of The Year sample pack by Function Loops is a free collection of loops, one shot samples, MIDI patterns and construction kits from their commercial products. The library contains 129 samples in total, adding up to 250 MB of audio material. The included sample and loop content is 100% royalty free.
Whispers is a free NI Kontakt instrument by Wavesfactory. Released as a Halloween freebie, this is a collection of whispers, swooshes and other eerie noises, packed in one seriously creepy looking user interface!
‘Not-So-Secret’ Santa by Sonniss is your ticket to grab a free Sonniss product this Christmas. Sign up for a free user account on their website and add up to five different products to your wishlist. You will receive a free sample library as a gift on December 25th. Sounds cool!
Acousmatic Samples by Tommy Bradly is a free collection of unconventional sounds and sonic textures that were created for an electroacoustic music piece. The sounds were created using a cymbal, a tambourine and a zither. The pack includes 200 MB of mostly unedited audio material.
