Wave Alchemy’s Electrik Drums Is FREE Until February 17th!

In celebration of the huge success of their new Revolution drum sound library, Wave Alchemy has announced that the Electrik Drums sample pack is offered as a free download until February 17th.

Electrik Drums is an older commercial sample pack that is now a part of Wave Alchemy’s excellent Drum Machine Collection (£35.95). It features over 450 high-quality drum hits sampled from the Vermona DRM MK11 analog drum machine.

All included one shot samples are provided in 24-bit WAV format and are completely royalty-free for use in commercial projects. In standard Wave Alchemy fashion, the drum machine was sampled in high detailed. You’ll find tons of variations for each drum hit, including 151 kick drum samples and 51 claps.

The sound quality of the included samples is as high as it gets. You’ll hardly need another Vermona DRM MK11 sample pack after grabbing this one.

One minor drawback is that the pack doesn’t include any sampler patches. Whether you use Kontakt, Battery, or a freeware sampler like Gooove BPB, you’ll need to create your own custom mappings for these hits. But still, getting this kind of sound quality completely free of charge really leaves little room for complaining.
