Phat Flux – Free Tribal Drum Sample Pack By Dark Side Of The Tune

4

Dark Side of the Tune has released Phat Flux, a free collection of one shot tribal drum samples which were processed with a Moogerfooger MF-108M Cluster Flux flanger/chorus unit.

Analog frequency modulation and filter techniques interweave to create tribal drum sounds with a life-like feel in Phat Flux, the new free sample library from Dark Side of the Tune. Bassy tones, as well as sticks, and metallic hits round out the collection. The Moogerfooger Cluster Flux was used to add more gain, a stereo image, and lush ambience. Variations of some sounds are provided to preserve the organic nature of analog synthesis.

Phat Flux is available for free download via SoundCloud (12.4 MB download size, ZIP archive, contains 50 audio samples in 16-bit & 24-bit WAV format).

Once you reach the download folder on Google Drive, hit CTRL+S on your computer keyboard to download the complete sample pack in a handy ZIP archive. You can also download samples individually by clicking on their file name in the download folder.

The included drum samples are sorted into kick and percussion sounds. Each included sample is available in 16-bit and 24-bit versions. As always when it comes to sounds provided by Dark Side of the Tune, the included samples sound very good and will add an extra layer of life and depth to your electronic drum beats.
