Oro Sounds has released Dance, a free bank for the Oatmeal VSTi synthesizer (included in our best freeware VA synth VSTi list), featuring 128 presets suitable for all sorts of EDM.
These are some of the punchiest, tearingest, phattest, warmest basses around! Bank 1 is basses, chords, and a few fx. Bank 2 will include leads & pads. (I made 128, but it only has a 64 patch internal bank). I’d love a demo song if you’re inspired and in return I will give you a free copy of the presets and, um. fame. I should also add that there were no randomized patches used in the creation of this bank…
Finally, Oatmeal is pretty amazing for freeware. It has definite quirks but once you master the envelope ratios it screams. Do yourself a favor and use Limeflavour’s skins. Also, the filters do not have gain compensation and I find it really benefits from a compressor behind it! Feedback, as always, appreciated.
